Shipping Policy

At Lyora LLC, we want you to receive your ceramic tableware as quickly, safely, and affordably as possible. This Shipping Policy explains our processing times, delivery estimates, shipping rates, international shipping procedures, and related policies. By placing an order on lyorallc.store, you agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy.

Processing Time

Processing time refers to the period between when you place your order and when we hand your package to the shipping carrier. Our standard processing time is 1 to 3 business days.

  • Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding major US federal holidays (New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day).

  • Orders placed after 2:00 PM Eastern Time on a business day are considered placed on the next business day for processing purposes.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing on the next business day.

  • During peak seasons (November through January, major sales events), processing times may extend to 5 business days. We will post notices on our website if extended processing times are expected.

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information when your order leaves our fulfillment center.

Domestic Shipping (United States)

Shipping Destinations

We ship to all 50 US states, including Alaska and Hawaii, as well as Puerto Rico, Guam, the US Virgin Islands, and other US territories. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, and territories may take longer and cost more than shipping to the continental United States (CONUS).

Shipping Methods and Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates from the date of shipment, not from the date of order placement. Add processing time (1-3 business days) to estimate total time from order to delivery.

Important Notes:

  • Expedited and overnight shipping require orders to be placed before our daily cutoff time (typically 12:00 PM Eastern Time) to ship the same day.

  • Expedited and overnight shipping are not available to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or some rural addresses.

  • Overnight shipping means delivery one business day after shipment, not one day after order placement.

Domestic Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Total weight of your order (including packaging)

  • Dimensions of the package

  • Shipping destination (zip code)

  • Selected shipping method

Typical standard shipping rates for CONUS:

  • Orders under 25:5.99 – $8.99

  • Orders 25−50: 7.99−10.99

  • Orders 50−75: 9.99−12.99

  • Orders over $75: Often free standard shipping (check website for current promotion)

Expedited and overnight rates are calculated dynamically and displayed at checkout.

International Delivery Estimates

Delivery times for international orders vary significantly based on destination, shipping method, and customs processing:

These estimates assume no delays in customs clearance. Customs processing can add days or even weeks in some countries, particularly during peak import seasons or if documentation is incomplete.

International Shipping Rates

International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, destination, and selected method. Rates are generally higher than domestic rates and vary widely. For typical small orders (1-5 pounds), international shipping typically ranges from 20to50 USD.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

IMPORTANT: International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, VAT (value-added tax), brokerage fees, and other charges imposed by your country’s government or its designated carriers.

  • These fees are NOT included in the prices displayed on our website or in the shipping charges you pay at checkout.

  • We cannot predict these fees because they vary by country, product type, order value, and current trade agreements.

  • Carriers typically collect these fees at the time of delivery or invoice you separately after delivery.

  • Refusing to pay customs fees is not grounds for a refund, as we have already shipped your order and incurred shipping costs.

We recommend that you contact your local customs office for an estimate of these fees before placing an international order. Declaring lower values on customs forms to reduce fees is illegal, and we will not falsify customs documentation.

Order Tracking

All shipments (domestic and international) include tracking information. You will receive a tracking number in your shipping confirmation email. Tracking numbers typically become active within 24 hours of receipt, though international tracking may take longer to update as packages move between carrier networks.

To track your package:

  1. Click the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email, or

  2. Copy the tracking number and enter it on the carrier’s website (USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or local postal service depending on destination)

  3. Log into your account on lyorallc.store and view your order history

If your tracking information has not updated for more than 5 business days (domestic) or 10 business days (international), please contact us. We will investigate with the carrier on your behalf.

Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

Lost Packages

A package is considered lost if:

  • Tracking shows no updates for 15 business days (domestic) or 25 business days (international) after the last scan, OR

  • The carrier formally declares the package lost

If your package is lost, contact us at ttnham.llc@gmail.com. We will file a claim with the carrier. Once the carrier confirms the loss, we will either ship a replacement order (if inventory is available) or issue a full refund including original shipping charges.

Stolen Packages

If tracking shows your package was delivered but you did not receive it, we cannot automatically assume theft. Follow these steps:

  1. Check with household members, neighbors, and your building’s front desk or mailroom

  2. Wait 48 hours after the delivery scan; carriers sometimes mark packages as delivered before actually leaving them

  3. Check around your property (porch, bushes, back door, garage)

  4. Contact the carrier to confirm the delivery location (GPS coordinates are often recorded for final delivery)

  5. File a police report if you believe the package was stolen

Once you have completed these steps, contact us with the details. While we cannot guarantee refunds or replacements for stolen packages (because theft after delivery is beyond our control), we will work with you and the carrier to investigate and may offer a one-time courtesy replacement or discount on a future order depending on circumstances.

Delayed Packages

We do not offer refunds or discounts solely for shipping delays unless the delay is extreme (more than 30 days for domestic, 60 days for international) and caused by our failure to process or hand off the order promptly. Weather, carrier operational issues, customs delays, pandemics, strikes, and natural disasters are beyond our control and do not qualify for compensation.

Shipping Restrictions

PO Boxes

We ship to PO boxes via USPS for domestic orders only. PO box delivery is only available via standard shipping (not expedited or overnight). International orders cannot ship to PO boxes.

APO/FPO Addresses

We ship to APO and FPO addresses via USPS. Delivery times are longer (typically 10-21 business days from shipment). Tracking may be limited once the package enters military postal channels.

Freight Forwarders

You may use freight forwarders to ship internationally, but you do so at your own risk. Once your order is delivered to the freight forwarder’s US address, we consider the order delivered and are not responsible for damage, loss, or delays caused by the freight forwarder. We also cannot provide refunds or replacements for products that a freight forwarder damages or loses.

Hazardous Materials

Ceramic products are not hazardous. However, some glazes used in decorative (non-food) pieces may contain materials restricted for air shipping. Most of our products are food-safe and unrestricted.

Split Shipments

If you order multiple items, we may split your order into multiple shipments if:

  • Items are located in different fulfillment centers

  • Some items are backordered or pre-ordered

  • Splitting allows faster delivery of available items

You will not be charged additional shipping fees for split shipments unless you selected expedited or overnight shipping for specific items. Each shipment will have its own tracking number.

Shipping Confirmation Email

After your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

  • Your order number

  • List of shipped items

  • Tracking number(s)

  • Link to carrier’s tracking page

  • Estimated delivery date (carrier estimate)

Save this email for your records. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email within 5 business days of placing your order (excluding peak periods), check your spam folder. If still not received, contact us.

Incorrect Shipping Address

You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate shipping address at checkout. If you realize you entered an incorrect address after placing your order, contact us immediately at ttnham.llc@gmail.com.

  • If we catch the error before processing your order, we will correct it at no charge

  • If your order has already shipped but the carrier allows address corrections, we will attempt to correct it (additional fees may apply and will be passed to you)

  • If your order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. You will be charged the actual cost of reshipping (which may be higher than the original shipping fee because we lose our volume discount for returned packages)

We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by you.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If you refuse delivery of a package or if a carrier cannot deliver it (incorrect address, no one available to sign if signature is required, package abandoned at carrier facility), the package will be returned to us. Once received, we will issue a refund for the product purchase price only, minus the original shipping cost and any return shipping fees charged by the carrier. We do not refund original shipping charges for refused or undeliverable packages.

Shipping Insurance

All shipments automatically include carrier-provided insurance up to 100USD.Thisinsurancecoversdamageorlossthatoccurswhilethecarrierhaspossessionofyourpackage.Ifyourpackagevalueexceeds100, we may increase insurance coverage at our discretion or yours. For high-value orders (over $500), we may require signature confirmation at delivery.
